Wednesday 6:30 P.M. on 88.5 KRFY another episode of Thinking Outside of the Box.

This week:
We are reviewing  and commenting on a National Geographic special which is called “Beyond the Movie, The Lord of the Rings. You may be steeped in the lore of this epic novel by JRR Tolkien or not. It matters not because today we bring to light some analogies and similarities through the ages, along with some lessons to be learned from history. Winston Churchill, Ben Franklin, and other historical icons make an appearance here

An off the wall, and out of the ordinary, episode of thinking outside the box with your host Ken Casler.

If you missed this episode you can find it here on Stitcher Radio: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/thinking-outside-of-the-box?refid=stpr.

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
